The William G Mather in the Cleveland Harbor

This is the William G Mather in the Cleveland Harbor, it is part of the Great lakes Science Center which is located at the Harbor in Cleveland, Ohio.  This is an old working Great Lakes Freighter.

From Wikipedia:

The Steamship William G. Mather is a retired Great Lakes bulk
freighter now restored as a museum ship in Cleveland, Ohio, one of
four in the Great Lakes region. She transported cargo such as ore,
coal, stone, and grain to ports throughout the Great Lakes, and was
nicknamed "The Ship That Built Cleveland" because Cleveland's steel
mills were a frequent destination.

  1. Cool looking old vessel, and a great shot. I’ve recently been on a boat called the EDT Leon with a very similar hull design and its very new.
